About Me

Hello, I’m Kathleen.

I’m a body-centered therapist and I love supporting folks in moving towards more aliveness and ease.

I’ve long been fascinated by how people think, feel, make choices and generally go about experiencing this life. We each have a universe happening inside of us (our microscopic cells doing their things, our thoughts constantly pinging around, our hearts beating, and so much more). It amazes me that we can find ways to make bridges to connect meaningfully with each other in the midst of so much complexity. I bring this passion and curiosity to my work to support clients in moving through their “gunk” to rediscover the radiant gem that they truly are.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I have a decade of experience working with groups and individuals as a yoga instructor and movement educator in a range of contexts in NYC and CO including studios, public schools, and offices. I am certified in Laban Movement Analysis, which essentially means I’m a nerd for movement and love to feel the textures that different forms of expression offer. I also enjoy sharing my love of the body by teaching experiential anatomy in yoga teacher trainings.

“The time that I've spent with Kathleen as my therapist has been exactly what I've needed. I have been looking for tools to best integrate my mind and body. Kathleen has an incredible ability to utilize language and embodiment cueing so that it makes sense to me. I have learned how to recognize and name a wider variety of sensation. I'm more familiar with myself and my own processes. I have learned how to pair emotion and resource, and know that I can find real support within my body. As a tumbling coach and a Rolfer®, I also can't help but geek out on how much stronger and effective I feel I've also become within my working life. Our sessions always stimulate critical thought and excitement in me in a way that I think everyone deserves to feel.”
